  • One can use the internet to design more artful power point presentations
  • New media can serve to create diversified lessons
  • In my opinion, students should obligatorily be taught the use of new media, since I believe that especially at the university this knowledge will be required

How often do you actually use new media in class?

  • At our school, new media is used very little
  • It strongly depends on the teacher, whether new media is employed in the lessons

⇒ The young generation tries to involve new media more often, while older teachers stick to their traditional methods

  • In addition, the media equipment at our school is relatively old

⇒ The tools either do not work, or teachers spend a lot of time to get them run

In which subjects do you predominantly use new media?

  • Subjects in which new media is mainly used: English, Maths and “Seminarfach”
  • Subjects in which new media is rarely used: biology, German, French, history, values and norms and politics

  2. How do you manage to involve your students into the acquisition process of new media? Do you prepare some questionnaires or just interview them during your classes?
  3. How much computer classes do you have? Is there an internet access in every class?
